We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to work with various materials and tools. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the capability to interpret technical drawings, ensuring high-quality assembly and fabrication of components.
Duties
- Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components according to specifications.
- Operate welding equipment primarily in both MIG and TIG Welding – any experience in MMA Welding would also be beneficial.
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and finishing materials.
- Able to perform both in the workshops and fit out on site.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Perform quality checks on completed work to ensure adherence to standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining quality.
Experience
- Proven experience in welding and fabrication is essential.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
- Full driving license required.
