The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Site or Project Manager to lead the delivery of a prestigious, high-profile mixed-use leisure development in Hertfordshire. This is a flagship, multi-million-pound project requiring a confident, hands-on professional who can take full ownership from early stages through to successful completion and handover.
This role is site-based due to the complexity, scale, and client-facing nature of the project, offering the chance to play a pivotal role in delivering a landmark scheme. After this project is complete you will be required to travel and manage other schemes in and around the UK

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the full lifecycle of a major electrical project from pre-construction through to completion and handover
- Lead all on-site electrical operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and within budget
- Coordinate with main contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution
- Manage subcontractors, site teams, and suppliers effectively
- Monitor progress, produce reports, and manage project programmes
- Ensure full compliance with health & safety regulations and company standards
- Identify and mitigate risks, resolving issues proactively
- Maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and professional delivery
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience managing multi-million-pound electrical projects
- Strong background in either Electrical Site Management or Project Management roles
- Experience working on complex, large-scale developments (mixed-use or leisure experience desirable)
- Ability to manage projects from early stages through to handover
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage budgets and programmes
- Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g. NVQ, HNC/HND, or equivalent)
- SMSTS/SSSTS (or equivalent) preferred
